The results are in and it was a barn burner last night as Saber Electric worked hard to stop the run by Gears Beer Hockey. 

The game remained scoreless until 24:49 when  coach Dave Crabill tapped in a goal from a feed by John Gerrish, assisted by Brian Mullin.

The back-and-forth play continued until 3:53 when Joe Nesbit received a feed into the offensive zone from Steve Malenich and squeaked a puck past Mike Davis against the post.

The game remained tied through a five-minute overtime and the goalies stopped all but one shooter – Jamie Galant beat Edwin Dean for the win!

Another great season for the Flint/Lapeer Oldtimers Hockey League is in the books.
